LAUREN SARAH COCKING 🍒

I’m a bilingual, Mexico City–based freelance writer, translator, and editor from Yorkshire, and the former editor of editorial at Viator. During my tenure as editor, the traffic to editorial content increased by 1,200%.

I’m currently studying for my MA in Latin American Literature at UNAM, and working on my first literary translation, a collection of short stories by Lilián López Camberos.

I have bylines at Condé Nast Traveler, BBC Travel, CNN, Lonely Planet, National Geographic, Fodors, LitHub, Teen Vogue (RIP), Al Jazeera, and more.

Sometimes, I’m a guest on podcasts like Hablemos Escritoras or Traveling with AAA.

Once upon a time, I blogged about Latin American literature at leyendolatam.com and about life in Mexico at northernlauren.com
